Quality: Tiger Iron is so cool. It’s a mix of Hematite, Tiger Eye, and Red Jasper – most of the time I see it, it is mixed into an unremarkable blur of stone but these are different. These are quite good. Actually, I was never much of a fan of Tiger Iron because I hadn’t seen any of a good quality. As you can see in the image, these are quite nice, but I kept thinking that my images were a bit off. Then I realized that because all of my images are taken outdoors in natural light (no flash or filter), that the images represent the stones in natural daylight. Although there are some that are more subtle, these guys have beautiful stripes and mixes. They are an excellent choice for man jewelry as well as more organic earthy pieces.
