Quality: Pietersite is a fickle stone, I think. Sometimes you find some that are absolutely amazing, and other times you find some that don’t have the same star quality. This stone is amazing in it’s crazy detail & swirling in the stone, but the color is a story in subtlety. There are a few spots of chaytoyant blue in there, but you have to look for them. In fact, if you look at this stone you will probably fall in love, but she requires attention to find all of the amazing detail.
Pietersite is also known as Eagle’s Eye, and Wonderstone or Wonder Stone for it’s amazing color & chatoyancy.
