These natural Charoite beads are:
Quantity: Eighteen (18) beads (one 9″ strand)
Shape: Rectangle step cut nugget beads
Size: about 10x14mm
Quality: I’m going to call this Charoite a B-, because although the color is pretty good, they are not generally chatoyant even though the purple is pretty good on a lot of these beads. It’s kind of a weird strand, there are some light stones, and some that are so dark they are mostly black in appearance. Nonetheless, this is an interesting strand with pretty nice faceting on most of the stones. The finish is pretty good, and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen any Charoite on the market at all! Given that I can’t even find it, that makes this a pretty good strand!
