This Quality Kyanite Beads strand is:

Quality: I’m going to have to call this Quality Kyanite Beads an A grade. Although these are amazing bright blue beads, there is some striping on some of the stones. What happens with these beads is that you hold them up & think “oh, these are really nice, they look like nice Kyanite” and then when I set them down on a piece of paper I go “WOW! HOLY COW! Those are really intense, amazing Kyanite!” They are an intense, royal blue, but not from every angle.

Yes they are incredible, deep, bright, amazing blue. Yes they are translucent to transparent stones. Yes they have a flashy facet. But there is an inclusion here & there, and the color is not even so there is some striping (which could be better for your project – who knows?). These things are not a big deal, particularly with kyanite, but they are worth noting, because this is what makes it a $120+ strand of kyanite instead of a $350 (or more) strand. Anyway, these are not consistent in size, which is kind of a good thing if you need more than one size. Again, they are an incredible blue color – like only gem quality kyanite can be!
