Quality: I’ve got to call this Quality Amethyst Beads strand a grade AAA, it’s just awesome. This is a spectacular & indulgent strand of Amethyst! You know for me to get Amethyst Rondelles they probably need to have a little something different and these certainly are special! To begin they are BIG (for rondelles). They have great COLOR. The CUT is amazing! They’ve got it all!

Okay, they don’t have it all, some of them are more translucent than transparent, and they are not uniform in thickness. But other than that, these are like grape gems! They are sparkling, and vibrant, and big, and amazing! These are the kind of Amethysts where you hold them up to the light and see ever so slightly different shades of grape through them – which I absolutely love. The saturation of these guys is really excellent, and they are still light enough to show to be very vibrant purple in color (Amethyst can suffer the same fate as Garnet, in that it can get too dark to show it’s lovely color when the stone gets larger).
