Quality: I’m going to have to call these fiery Ethiopian Opal beads about an AAA grade. The color play is amazing! Although they are not as fiery as a AAA grade opal might be, the color variety is amazing! I am under the impression that black opal is typically smoked these days to achieve the black coloration, and that this color treatment is very stable & durable. Regardless, I am enchanted by the colors and quality of this strand – I could look at them all day long!

So I’ve read that Opals are the stone of hope, are the most powerful of healing stones, and best of all, amplify positive emotions. (so what I’m getting here is that Opal rocks!) Regardless, opal is a very delicate stone and should be treated gently to avoid cracking & breaking these lovely rich stones.
