This strand of faceted Aquamarine nuggets has:
Quantity: about 15 nugget beads (one 9″ strand)
Shape: Faceted nuggets

Quality: I’m going to have to call these faceted Aquamarine nuggets about an A+ grade. They are far more clear than most of the Aquamarine nuggets I see, which typically means the color is lighter as well – which it is. But clarity is quality, and these are better than most! Yes, the color is very light and subtle, but I’m really impressed with these nonetheless.

Finally, these have a lively, flashy cut (by hand), and are not perfect by any means. There are dings around drill holes (the primary issue I found), although I haven’t seen any signs of major beatings around the rest of the stone. Overall, these are great aquamarine – a good size (which is harder to get than teeny chips), a flashy facet, light color, better than average clarity and in a very fancy stone.

Like it or not, when you tell people it’s genuine aquamarine, their eyebrows will go up & they will have another look – they can’t help it.
