Quality: I’m going to have to call this Faceted Carnelian Beads a B+ quality, although it could be conservative. The color is lovely, but as you can see in the image, the stone is not gem-perfect (which is often a good thing!). It has beautiful bands of color sprinkled through, and there are beads that have marks on them (I don’t know how to describe them other than it’s clearly the edge of the rock, which I think is cool, but some people think is a mar on the surface – I think it makes it look natural). The color is rich and deep, the faceting is good. Check the images to be sure you can appreciate what these beads have to offer – they’re cool!
