Quality: I’m going to call these Quality Garnet Beads about an A. What is special about these beads is the fact that they are faceted round. Faceted spheres are so hard to find! These are a step above the average strand, although I will admit, they are not the spectacular, unbelievable outrageous kind I prefer. They have a great juicy color that isn’t too dark (often garnet can get too dark so you can’t see it’s beautiful red color), and although the faceting is good, it’s not spectacular. I would like to see them microfaceted although that would make them cost 5x more than they do! So for stone quality & color they get very high marks, but the faceting could be a bit more crisp (see image for details).
