Quality: I’m going to have to call this garnet briolette beads strand an A grade. For most people these would be regular quality stones, the ones you find most of the time from most bead sellers – just not usually from me!! I would like to see them a bit better to be honest, but I think I am just used to the super-fancy ones that I usually get. Sometimes you get what you get, so these are discounted because they are not that exceptional quality of stone that I usually get.

Nonetheless, they are still very nice stones, they have more of a red with orange undertones (as opposed to pink or purple undertones). I also think the cut could be a touch better, but there is nothing wrong with the cut either, it’s just nothing special. They are clear but there are visible inclusions in the stones (where they aren’t clear). I think I’ve pointed out everything I don’t like about these!

I love garnet, I love it’s versatility (it can put on the prettiest color). But most of all, I love how it feels. It’s slippery & shiny, and so very tactile – it’s a shame you can’t feel these, because they have that weight & slip that contributes to Garnet’s sexy appeal…
