Quality: I never used to carry Larimar, but I fell for this genuine Larimar pendant & couldn’t help myself. I am quite enamored with most varieties of blue, and Larimar is no exception. One of the things I love the most about this piece is that although the natural rough face is lovely, there is a beautiful, glossy, polished design on what is considered the ‘back’ side of the stone. I would be tempted to use it backwards or as a reversible piece because I could never decide which side I liked more! The blue in this stone is a tiny bit light, but still a lovely ocean breeze color.

Larimar comes only from the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean (which makes the ocean reference all the more apropo), and is thus somewhat rare.
