Quality: Well, what can you say? They are genuine, natural, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise beads – which means it is destined to disappear over time, as the Sleeping Beauty Mine stopped it’s turquoise production in 2012 (they still mine copper though). So of course it’s outrageously expensive & rare – but it’s also very cool! Turquoise seems so at home in a nugget shape, I’m not quite sure why! Anyway, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise has been a very famous name in turquoise for many years and has produced some of the finest American Turquoise ever. These have a wonderful, surprisingly bright blue color & a lovely natural shape. In addition, this is stabilized turquoise, as is most of the turquoise available these days. I did see an issue here & there at the drill hole, which I expected because these days you take what you can get with Sleeping Beauty! The color is incredible, it has a bit of matrix here & there, and is a generally fantastic strand! If you’re looking for something rare & special – you’ve just found it!
