Quality: Holy Mackerel! I’m going to have to call this Tourmaline an AA grade. This is mostly for the color. Blue Tourmaline (Indicolite) is the rarest of all tourmaline colors, and these are an awesome example of lovely blue tourmaline! They range in color from a deep teal to a light powdery sky. Although the cut of these isn’t perfect, it is really good. I can clearly see the micro faceting on the sides of the stones because they are thick enough to see the sides. Although they could be more consistent across the strand, I’m not going to fault these guys for much – they’re just too cool! They are translucent to transparent, so there are some visible inclusions but nothing is going to take away my joy with this Indicolite Tourmaline! Anyway, if it’s your thing – these are the bomb!

Like it or not, when you tell people it’s genuine Tourmaline (just like with aquamarine), their eyebrows will go up & they will have another look – they can’t help it.
