This natural Lapis pendant bead is:

Quality: I am not quite sure how I ended up with this piece – granted I do like it, it is a natural Lapis Pendant bead that has not been dyed or otherwise treated. At the same time, this stone has a rough edge on the front of the stone. I normally only purchase only the absolute best quality (which would mean no rough edge, only super gloss) but something made me pick this one up. The front has a deep super glossy blue color up to the edge on one side, where it appears to almost wear off. It has a great shape, a good size, and where it is polished – it is beautifully done. Quite a conundrum I’d say. Nonetheless, it’s a nice stone with great color and some individual character to the appearance (just like all of us!).
It has a great smooth cut with a flat back and drilled sideways at the top of the stone.
