Quality: These matte lapis lazuli beads are special! Most of the Lapis available today has been treated in some way (dyed generally) to give it a spectacular color at a very low price. These are NOT those beads. Although these aren’t the super high quality beads that we usually sell, the unique finish made them irresistible!! They do have more calcite (the white part) than our normal lapis beads, but this only adds to their organic appeal. The mix of white & blue combined with the soft, velvet finish, extra-long strand, and graduated size makes them something special.
