This Multicolor Tourmaline Beads strand has:

Quality: I’m going to have to call this Multicolor Tourmaline Beads a B- grade. As you can see in the image – we’ve got a nice looking tourmaline here – the color is pretty good – it’s nicely varied and there are some beautiful details in some of the stones. These are not perfect – they are irregular in size and some are irregular in size & shape. There are drilling issues and rough edges.  Also, I this is the kind of Tourmaline that you are likely to find with a broken bead or two on the strand – so they are value priced due to the quality issues. At the same time, this quality of Tourmaline is usually found for $15/strand, so yes, you found quite the bargain!

Like it or not, when you tell people it’s genuine Tourmaline (just like with aquamarine), their eyebrows will go up & they will have another look – they can’t help it.
