Quality: This Padparadscha Sapphire Beads are about an A+ grade I’d say. They are shockingly transparent, and have bright, rich color. I’m really impressed with the faceting – even on the most teeny tiny stone, you can see a zillion facets. These are NOT those chippy, barely faceted sapphires – these are brilliantly faceted.

The thickness of these guys are not consistent and the shape can be inconsistent as well – although most are wheel shaped, there are a few that are more disc or saucer shaped. It happens. That part aside – this is one of the nicest examples of how pink, orange, and yellow can be intertwined in the same color. One doesn’t think it can truly be the case – but they are very close cousins, and these beads show it off nicely. They seem to be orange with pink overtones – really fancy. I love it!
