Shape: Faceted Pear Briolettes
Size: 5-7mm
Quality: I’m going to call this Peridot briolettes strand about a B+. The color is a bit olive, but these guys are quite transparent – when you hold them up to inspect them, you can see an inclusion here & there – but it’s clear around it – not the translucence you often find. At the same time, the big issue with these guys is the irregularity. It’s crazy. Some are pear shape, some are long, some are heart shape, it’s quite silly. I suppose it’s good if you’re looking for a variety (because this is almost a variety strand!), because there certainly is a variety here – my guess is that the drilling on these guys might have some issues – but I haven’t worked with them, so I honestly don’t know – but these seem like the kind of briolettes that just might. Have I talked you out of them yet? Really, it’s just important you know all the issues, the benefits you can see in the image!
