Quality: I’ve got a weakness for Aquamarine. I just love it so very much – it’s not my birthstone, I just love it! These Quality Aquamarine Round Beads, in particular, is really something special. The color is slightly variegated & so is the clarity of the strand. Some of the beads on the strand are incredibly transparent and some are opaque, some are a light blue color and some are very light – it’s a true mix on the strand. Again, spheres are more difficult to find in beads (for quality gemstones) because the size of the rough must be much larger to cut a sphere than to cut a button. You can take all sorts of skinny, odd-shaped pieces to make a button, but you need a large chunk to make a sphere – and to find many high quality chunks makes spheres a bit more expensive, and always extravagant!
