Quality: I’m going to have to go with about an A for these Quality Chrysoprase Beads. It is really difficult to find smooth, perfect chrysoprase, although sometimes it seems readily available – it just isn’t. These beads are really kind of special – although they have the expected issues that Chrysoprase would have – some textured areas that reach the surface and some brown matrix here & there, they also show that rich variety of color that only chrysoprase can show! They have a wonderful mix of fresh, bright greens with some stones being a bit better than others. While all of this is lovely, these have none the same issues that I would expect to see in regular hand cut stones – there is very little variation in thickness between the beads, nor is there much variation in size. These are a higher quality of stone overall, the cut is good, the color is good, the size is great – very nice goods!

From what I’ve read, Chrysoprase is an absolutely joyful stone. It can support hope and joy as well as increase contentedness. But more than anything – it’s really pretty! 😉
