Quality: I’m going to have to call these Rainbow Moonstone Beads a B grade. The flash is shy and they are more transparent than I would expect this quality to be. While they don’t flash brilliantly, they do seem to imply that they are going to flash brilliantly (you’ll understand when you see them). The size is amazing – they are big beads and surprisingly well cut. They even have pretty good looking drill holes. As a matter of fact, these are very old stock from back in the day – and all the better for it!
Moonstone is an alternate birthstone for June, and Hindu lore says that the radiant shimmer of moonstone is from captured moonbeams in the stone. Dreamy, eh?
