Quality: Holy Mackerel! These are the best tourmaline EVER! I’m going to call this Rubellite Tourmaline Beads AAAA although the color truly warrants higher. They are mostly clean (but not perfectly) with the most vibrant, lively, saturated, unearthly pink color you’ve ever seen!! Naturally.  Even the dealer I bought these from thought these were incredible.  Usually dealers get to be jaded from seeing all the amazing stones come & go, but they also felt these were something extra special!  Finding tourmaline this clear with color this vibrant is unusual.  Just think of all the other tourmaline you see and how clear it is.  This is one of the stones that quite nicely correlates clarity with cost – when one goes up so does the other (appropriately so).

Like it or not, when you tell people it’s genuine Tourmaline (just like with aquamarine), their eyebrows will go up & they will have another look – they can’t help it.
