Quality: We’d call these Smoky Quartz nuggets about a grade B, mostly because it is a lovely dark smoky color, which is just a fantastic neutral & because it’s gloss is so slippery & shiny. Granted, this is one of those examples where the smoke is so smoky that you can’t see much for it’s clarity, but the sparkle and shine these have is quite special. These have seen very little abuse and are in generally good shape. They are just these big, undulating chunks of glossy smoke! Regardless – these are nice rocks – if they weren’t I wouldn’t be selling them after all.

For a long time, I just didn’t understand the beauty of Smoky Quartz. I mean, it was just smoky. Recently I guess I’ve matured, since I just love it. It has this sparkly glamor that can’t be ignored. I actually think it might be the greatest asset to jewelry – it goes with just about anything, and is really quite affordable.
