These genuine, untreated, natural Lapis Lazuli beads are:
Quantity: Forty five (45+) beads, about 7″ long
Shape: Smooth heart teardrop briolette shape
Size: 7-9mm
Weight: 99ct
Quality: I think I will have to give these Lapis beads about an A grade. Although my supplier called them AAA superfine, I do not, but the reasons are simple. These are still great stones – but they have a tiny bit too much calcite & pyrite for me to call them AAA – I like to see a more smooth blue for a higher quality and these are a bit more varied. At the same time, these are an incredible blue, a really rich deep lapis with a super glossy smooth finish. The cut is quite good, and they are simply a very good Lapis strand.
