Quality: I’m going to call this Amethyst oval gemstone an A quality. The color is a rich vibrant purple, and the stone is very clean. I do think there is some color pooling in these guys (which I could see in the image, I hope you can too), which makes them a bit less than perfect. I bought these from a Brazilian gem dealer many years ago, who came from generations of gem dealers. She loved colored stones, and only liked to sell very beautiful pieces, of which these were some. Regardless, these are some really great stones – we guarantee it. In fact, we hate to see them go!
