Quality: Most of the Lapis available today has been treated in some way (dyed generally) to give it a spectacular color at a very low price. These are NOT those beads. We give these a grade A, Good Quality Lapis Lazuli beads because of the deep, bright blue color of them, along with the solid cut & polish. At the same time, this lapis has a bit more calcite than the very best quality has – but it’s still a nice quality lapis – and the price is spectacular because of it. The cut is wonderful and the faceting is shockingly sparkly. They are great beads.
