Quality: I’m going to have to call this Aquamarine tiny pendant an AA grade. This is a special little piece. The color is smooth & an angelic blue hue. This is a bit more expensive because the quality of the stone is a bit better. If it’s still available, you can see a similar pendant I have that is much larger than this one, and almost the same price. This is because the material isn’t quite as nice. There is a visible inclusion in the other stone and this one is just smooth blue. Granted, the stone is just lightly translucent, not transparent (which would make it much more expensive). At the same time, this is an amazing stone. It is such a smooth, delicious blue color and the gloss on it is so slick that you can’t keep your hands off it. There is a really appealing tactile quality to the stone – it is slick, smooth, & beautiful. The blue is smooth and deep without being bright. As you can see from the image (I hope) this is not an ordinary stone – there is something rather special about it! Truly, I’d be happy to keep it.
Like it or not, when you tell people it’s genuine aquamarine, their eyebrows will go up & they will have another look – they can’t help it.
