These genuine Sunstone beads are:
Quantity: one 7.5″ strand (approx 15 beads)
Shape: Step cut faceted nuggets
Size: 8-13mm
Weight: 119ct
Quality: I’m going to have to call this Sunstone an A- grade – I absolutely love high quality Sunstone, and although these are nice, they aren’t what I usually find. These are still sparkly sunstone, but they are more translucent than they are transparent, and as you can see in the images they have some visible inclusions & more swirly interior than the super clear ones. Also, these have more of a peachy color than a vibrant orange, but they are still sparkly, beautifully cut faceted nuggets!

Sunstone is such a fun stone. It’s sparkle is called aventuresence, and is due to metal inclusions in the stone. I knew a gem dealer once who would tell a fable about how the sparkle in the sunstone is actually the spectacular beauty of the sun captured in the stone.
